Hello,
We're in the planning phase at the moment and won't be bringing home any keets until we are well set up but we would value input from people who have experience with guinea fowl.

What do you feed your guineas?

Can you please share your housing set ups and advice about what works and what doesn't?

Thanks!

I used a roofed pen for my guineas (or they will fly out). They dont need a house as such but a protected area (one wall facing prevailing weather and a solid roof) is a good idea.

I fed then chook food starter or grower when young and then layer pellets and they did fine.

They are weird birds and can be VERY noisy so be prepared for that! But lovely and quaint too. Enjoy
