I set this coop up yesterday, it has been siting on the ground for awhile, so I decide to left it up, off the ground and today I found 3 eggs in it

Do you mean you set up the nesting box? They will probably like having it raised up a bit - chooks seem to like a raised nest box. Hope you find many more eggs in it :)

yes, it was on the ground,

and I sat it on the crates, without the bag over the top, and they would not go in a lay, but once I put the bag in front of it, I found 3 eggs.
