Hi everyone,

Has anyone seen a mushroom like this in their lawn ?
If so, what is it called and are they poisonous ?
Because I found my chickens feasting on them and my broody hen insists on trying to feed them to her chicks :aaah!

Here are the photos:

They are toadstools. No idea about their safety tho. Guess you could trust the chooks good sense - not sure if that is good sense or not!

Lovely pics. I have a variety (including mushrooms) which have come up after the rain. The chooks don't touch them so I guess that if they are eating yours they are probably OK. Maybe they are 'magic'. :eyegrow
