I have heard to give chook raspberry cordial as I have chooks that are old and they told me the cordial gives them a left,
like an energy drink.

I have heard stuff about raspberry cordial too. But personally I dont think it does a great deal.it wont harm them though.

I think there was something about the health benefits of 'real raspberry' cordial. The supermarket stuff would probably give a quick sugar hit but I doubt that it would have any long term use. I use it to disguise the taste of worm meds in water. It is sweet and the chooks are attracted to the colour.

Would an occasional treat of an actual (frozen) raspberry have the same benefit? No added sugar or preservative.

Studies suggest raspberry cordial can kill stomach bugs in water. The occasional unconcentrated raspberry wouldn't have the same effect, but it's a nice treat.

Most if not all supermarket cordials contain no actual raspberry whatsoever (unless "raspberry flavour" counts). Have a look next time, you'll be surprised.

I used cranberry juice, i think it's better then cordial
