This week, Denis Lyne, a long-time member and moderator on Backyard Poultry passed away after a long illness.

He will be greatly missed by the poultry community both online and offline. His contributions here were high valued and we've lost a good friend and colleague. His wicked sense of humour and great knowledge of poultry and people made him a friend to many.

There is a service to be held at his home at Deloraine in Tasmania on Tuesday. Friends are welcome to attend. Message me if you would like details.

RIP Denis.

Very sad to hear of Dennis passing.
A great person. We did not always see eye to eye but enjoyed catching up with each other. i will miss our friendly head butting. A man I had a lot of respect for. Now walking tall in the kingdom or our maker.
