Hi there,

Can anyone tell me when (or if!) Wagga Poultry Club is having an auction this year? I remember going to one sometime in March/April and would like to go again.

Thanks, Richelle

Its not actually an auction,it has been advertised as a "monster poultry sale" and the contact is Trevor Slater on 0407513974.Comm is 15% and they have a capacity of 1000 pens.Viewing starts at 9am on Sunday 18th March .Should be a good day.GF

That sounds interesting...wonder how it will work. I have visions of the clock ticking 10am and everyone yelling and throwing money around..hehe. All will be revealed on the day I guess! Thanks GF

Wagga runs a "silent auction" system. You still need a buyer's number,so make sure you get there early and register your name. They also have meat buyers there if you need to get rid of those extra cockerels. The system works well for Wagga and its all over in a few hours.Cheers GF
