What a great day at the Kyneton Poultry Sale. Sold all my birds, including a record breaking $120 for a salmon faverolles bantam pullet !!
Also bought a beautiful white slikie trio. Congratulations to the club it's always a well run auction that is finished in a timely manner and I was happy with the prices my birds got as the buyers can see the true value of the birds. But there are also bargains to be had.

Well done and thanks

Really good day - and bargains yes: at the other end of the spectrum I was more than happy with the bidding for my bantam-cross pullets. Plus as a buyer took home two nice young roosters to improve my pens. Who won the raffled chickens??: they (and the hen) were beautiful.

Hi All,
Thank you to those who posted generous comments on BYP about the auction it's nice to get positive feed back.

It was a really good day all round. The weather was kind to us and a large number turned up. There was a record number of bidders and plenty of sellers and most seemed pleased with their days activities. The clearance rate during the sale was excellent and a lot of unsold lots were sold later. I saw plenty of top prices paid and some real bargains as well.
The stall holders reported very busy days and in general it was a most successful sale.

The KDPC is most appreciative of our patrons who have supported us during the year and we trust the sales were rewarding for you.

Our next auction will be on the 8/4/2018. The other sales dates for next year will be 1/7/18 and 14/10/18.

Would the moderator please add these dates to the Calendar

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Please take care over the festive season and we look forward to seeing you all next year.

Regards Ian B
