The May Meeting of the KDPC will be held on Thursday 2/5/19 at 7.30pm in the Horace Don Pavilion at the Kyneton Showgrounds on the corner of Mollison and Beauchamp Streets Kyneton.

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Susan Bibby who will address poultry health concerns. Susan graduated from Melbourne University in 2000 with an honours degree in Veterinary Science. She has worked in Australia and abroad specializing in poultry health and management. She is a member of the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Poultry Health and a past president of the Australian Veterinary Poultry Association and the Commercial Poultry Veterinarians.
Susan is a very popular, entertaining and inclusive speaker in addition to having a vast knowledge of her topic.

Visitors are welcome and a light supper is available. We are asking for a gold coin donation to help cover expenses.

Regards Ian B

Hi All,

The Kyneton club would like to thank Dr. Susan Bibby from Myvet in Strathfieldsaye for giving an informative and entertaining discourse on Poultry veterinary care.

Susan covered a range of topics and answered many questions from members and visitors who numbered in excess of forty. The problem of culling was handled with efficient compassion and she used the carcass to demonstrate what could be wrong in sick birds and why some illness occurs.

Unfortunately time ran out before she could cover everything and we hope she can return very soon and continue her talk.

Thank you Susan we appreciate your visits very much

Regards Ian B
