The Auction will be held on Sunday 7/7/2019 in the Horace Don Pavilion at the Kyneton Show Grounds on the corner of Mollison and Beauchamp Streets. Kyneton. Kyneton is a pleasant and historic town only an hour and a bit drive from the Melbourne CBD along the Calder Freeway.
Birds must be penned before 10.30 am. Auction between 11.30am and 1.00pm Viewing after 10.00am
FERTILE EGGS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THIS AUCTION AND OCTOBER ALSO.
Pens $5.00 each for standard and large [Goose] pens. $3.00 each for bantam pens. Fertile Eggs in cabinets are $2.00 for egg carton or $3.00 in bantam pens [No limit] but sold as one lot All pens have a 3 birds Maximum and sold as one lot.
Bidder registration is $2.00 which includes a pencil and notepad Sundry goods are $3.00 for most items. Outside Stalls @ $15.00 for regular sites

All birds are to be presented in a healthy, disease free state and the club reserves the right to refuse entry to any bird presented in an unacceptable condition. Young birds must be off heat and feathered. All birds must be transported and handled humanely as the club values fowl welfare, All transactions are cash only [no EFPOS or cheques] between the seller and buyer with the club taking no further commissions. Buyers and Sellers, provided with name tags, can discuss the various breeds and their needs. A sausage sizzle is available along with other hot and cold refreshments for your enjoyment. There will be a great raffle with a terrific main prize and a good selection of other prizes. Tickets are only available at the auction. Raffle drawn on the day and winners notified. The Kyneton Poultry Club Inc. is a not for profit community based group and all proceed go to the continued refurbishment of our pavilion and the promotion of poultry in general Most of the pens are new or have been refurbished . The pavilion has a solid concrete floor, new lighting and we have increased our pen numbers to 412. The auction is conducted by volunteers who give their time, expertise and energy to help run a successful event. They are only too happy to be of assistance to our patrons . "ANIMAL PATCH" CHILDRENS FARM We will have Susans CHILDRENS FARM set up near the "sausage sizzle" at the auction for the entertainment and education of our patrons families. Her fees are very reasonable and it is a real opportunity to be close to various rescued animals and fowl while the sale is in progress
