Oh just look at them now. I think they are gorgeouse but Jack's sex is still in question.

I think there is no doubt that Mitchel is a lovely young cockerel!!

But is Jack a girl or a slower developing boy?

Sorry I had to cut the legs off this one to get the file size small enough.

What's the verdict? Is Jack a boy/Girl?

I will be watching the replies here,..I have one too who I thought was a boy about 10 weeks old..now looking at your pics he/she looks more like jack as far as development goes..there is a little black chooky the same age who is definately a rooster..he is already chasing girls..lol..

fingers crossed jack/jackie turns out to be what you want.janine

With some of the "more difficult " birds to sex I tend to look at fors and againsts .
Jack for example has a pullets head . The body size and the stance is male and the tail I would say male also . On this evaluation , sorry, would have to say male.

I am expecting that they are both boys, I am having a lot of trouble differentiating the different body types between cockerals & pullets. I was anticipating the boys would be a lot more upright by now.
Thanks
