Hi just wondering... I have a light sussex roo and light sussex and speckled sussex hens plus a couple of isa browns and australorpe hens. I've been trying to figure out from a number of other discussions what colours to expect in the chicks and came across the sex-link info. I'm not sure if I have it right but does using a l.sussex roo mean this colour will come through in all female chicks regardless of the mothers colour? If so, then yellow chicks will be girls and other colours boys? Thanks for any help

short answer is no as you have both lightsussex hens and a rooster and crossed with isa you could get all sorts even some that have the light sussex colour.
not sure about the other 2 but I would suspect the australorps would be a black with the odd white fleck.
