That white male has really black wattles & comb - beautiful!
The grey first one doesn't look male at this stage and
the other one is too early to guess.
If you hadn't said the partridge was a pullet I would have said boy as the comb looks lumpy,
so what do I know. :oops:

hey bronze your guess is as good as mine, but, she (i am encouraging her to be a she lol) has the lovely eye markings of a girl partridge. her stance and behaviour (not viewable in the photo :rofl: ) also suggest girl.

i do hope she is a girl, as i want her to mate with hte buff boy and produce lovely babies :)

the male white and buff came from some lovely people down south, and both have good foot feathers on middle toe, to go with my little petal (who also as good foot feathers).

very sadly i will never find out if lilac was lavender or not as she got taken by a fox along with several other birds the other night.......................foxes are so frustrating. :aaargh: :swords: :( :cry:

That is awful about Lilac!!
There has been a fox seen over the road from me, so I worry every day.
That's so sad.
