How do you tell if you have large or bantam in the indians when they are young?

it is almost impossible. often the large fowl retain the baby down around the head and neck longer. but usually you find the bantams start to mature and the large fowl still are chickens.

i personally would not try and guess. i have many running around now. i have been breeding them for many years and i often will not risk trying to guess. sometimes my bantams grow big and sometimes my large fowl are slow to grow.

others may have their own opinions, these are just mine.
