Yes I am aware that most of them will end up in the pot, but there are enough of them and they are good enough quality that people may want to keep one for breeding and the rest for the freezer. Re-reading my post it does sound like I don't want them to go into the pot! I hope most of them don't but I am realistic enough to know that they will.

Maybe we need a "Second chance" listing? Too good for the pot but what do you do with them otherwise??

What age is too old for the pot? I have 3 drake here that I have been unable to find homes as people keep telling me they will take them then I never hear from them or they change their minds they are about 4 1/2 months now. Located in sunbury Vic pm for further details

Free barnevelder roosters - currently 7 weeks old.

9 birds in total.

Located in Sydney.

Koroit District Kinder has 9 cockerals ready to be rehomed, age 6 -8 weeks 98% are x breeds.
Breeds they are cross with are blue/splash orpingtons with feathered legs (cochin x?), silkie x leghorns, 1 x salmon fav with a bad eye (deformed at birth). And i can personally add to australorp boys that are 16 week old. Only good for meat purposes, not quality stock.
