Hi can anyone help with my little boy? he's about ten weeks old, seems strong and healthy but his wings droop all the time. He seems to keep hitching them back up. I have no idea what breed he is. He's gray and brown almost all over, he only has a small amount of fluff left across the back near his tail. My two girls are stark white. the girls wings are the same size but they don't droop. Do I have anything to worry about. Phalara :(

Hi

It is fine. I have it happen occasionally. They grow out of it with age. I have never proved why they do it, if i get one this year i will give them multi vitamins and see if it helps - you may want to give that a try.

The reason i have thought of is that the wing feathers have grown faster than teh wing and he is just not quiet strong enough to hold them up - but he will grow out of it.

regards

Honk

Thanks Honk, I'm having fun with my babies, but still panic at everything I perceive is wrong. Phalara
