I noticed this post is from a couple years ago but I recently (yesterday) received some barnevelders and i'll hopefully be taking them to Goulburn Show next year :)
I have no idea if they are show quality but I don't just want them to live in my backyard. I want my daughter to experience the enjoyment of having chickens and hopefully when she is older she can have her own to show.
I'm excited to meet some local chicken people and to learn many things along the way.

Hi Missveedub, I missed Goulburn this year (my stuff up) but I'm taking some Barnies to Harden show next weekend. It will be great to have another team at Goulburn next year. Where did your birds come from?

I'll be there next year :) I got mine off Shayne from Kangaroo Valley, but I think she got her breeders originally from my Mum (not 100% sure).
