Thank you to everyone that has helped me out in the past. I hope you can do so again.
I have a Black Australorp who is laying every second day - as is her sister. They are around 2 years old.
A couple of days ago we noticed that she wasn't walking too well.
She laid yesterday but is having trouble getting in and out of the coop and when she is out only walks a couple of feet and squats.
She is obviously not egg bound - the problem is in her legs.
She does have a pooey bum and her tail is always down.
Here are some photos.
Any ideas??
By the way we have kept chooks in this yard with the same plants for 5 years and no problems. Same food etc etc. The other girls are fine. Spotty (my Spotted Sussez is nearly 5 years old and still laying)
Cheers
