Hoping next year to get a Big blr cockerel from Qld, he has used a red line which has increased both size and type.

Hope you are getting the BLR cockerel from a breeder in far north QLD, I have seen some of his birds and they are magnificent.

Probably same one also have option with mate out west, he has got some from the Qld guy and will be putting back over he's blr. I'm member of both blr breeders Australia and Blr developers. So have good contacts now.

Jose, I kept 3 cockerals, 1 light blue laced red and 2 dark blue laced reds, one darker than the other. The Darkest one is in with 2 splash laced red hens, the light blue cockerel is in with 2 dark blue laced red hens. 3rd cockerel is in waiting for pullets to become hens, or can change out cockerals after a couple of clutches if needed. This one is most solid and has best head and comb. Pullets first birthdays is October, even new ones, so not that long a wait.
