I have just heard second hand that a white face can also be caused by vitamin deficiency.
The original source is a vet working with commercial chickens who has met this frequently in fast growing meatbirds.
I have never seen it myself and have found nothing to confirm this, but it is certainly worth keeping in mind.

Thanks Globi,

I'll keep that in mind if my current treatment doesn't work. I have treated the whole flock with Moxi Plus from GeckoDan. Two treatments, 11 days apart. Via syringe to the throat. Also a total pen clean up and hit it with Malaban and put pestine through the feather of each bird. Seems to be slowly clearing it up. I'll repost in a few weeks if this has done the trick.

cheers,

Michael

I would be really interested to learn the result, Michael. Thank you.
