Once again thanks to the Kyneton Poultry club.

I had a very successful day selling all my ten pens and 2/3 of my eggs for a handy return most if not all above reserve prices. I was impressived to be heading home by 1.15-1.30pm too !

Thanks again and now we await the next sale !

Hi All,

Firstly let me thank Minotaur for those kind words. It is nice to get positive feedback.

The October auction was our biggest one this year. We had a record number of bidders. Patrons cars stretched halfwar round the football oval. Some people enjoyed a bit of a walk but it was a nice day.
The shed was fully booked and even though some sellers did not used their pens we managed to re-allocate some of them.
Sellers who do not advise of non attendance may not have future bookings accepted.

The auction clearance rate was terrific and sellers were pleased. There were quite a few sales after the auction.
We welcomed Bret McCarter a new stallholder who has a range of grains and feeds. He will be back at the next auction along with Tony Mauritzi, another stallholder, with his large variety of poultry related goods.
The raffle was very popular and we wish to thank our sponsors Woodend Poultry, Kyneton Stock and Feed, Birds R Us of Bendigo, Taramede Market and Maria McCarter of Strath Creek for their generous support.

29 club members attended and we hope that they enjoyed the day. There is a lot to do on auction day and we appreciate all the help we can get. Thank you very much to you all.

The club has revised the prices for next year and they are. Standard and Extra large are $5.00. Bantam pens $3.00.

The auction dates for next year [2019] are as follows 7th of April, 1st of July and 13th of October. All dates are Sundays.

The Kyneton and District Poultry Club Inc. wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year .
Regards Ian B

Hi All,

I would like to point out that I made a mistake with the auction dates for next year. They should read 07/04/19, 07/07/19 and 13/10/19.

Sorry for this error.

Regards Ian B.
