I have acquired two new young chickens. I am unsure what they could be. I will attach a photo. If you could hazard a guess, that would be much appreciated. I believe they are both ladies, please tell me I am right.

Thanks

Do you think the speckled one could have Ancona in her?

Also with the black fluffy type girl, do you think she could have Aracauna in her?

Hi Healzam,
I think they're both cross breeds. The speckled one could/might/maybe have some Ancona. But it could also be something else......... If these two are the same age, I think this is a boy........

The other with a bit of fluffy on her face could be aracauna. Could also be a bit of Belgian duccle, or, again, something different.

They are both nice looking chickens. How are they getting on with your others?

Hi Okaru
I do now think the spotted one is a rooster. Unfortunately I don't know ages as the neighbours didn't know how to care for them, so I offered to buy them, but ended up with them for free.

My other girls are not impressed, these guys had been stalking their yard for weeks, and now they are inside the pen. But it is going better than expected, I thought it would be continuing chasing of each other.

Unfortunately in my area I can not keep roosters, so if he starts crowing I will have to rehome him.
