The Auction will be held on Sunday 7/4/2019 in the Horace Don Pavilion at the Kyneton Show Grounds on the corner of Mollison and Beauchamp Streets. Kyneton.
Kyneton is a pleasant and historic town only an hour and a bit drive from the Melbourne CBD along the Calder Freeway.

Penning is before 10.30 am. Auction between 11.30am and 1.00pm Viewing after 10.00am
Pens $5.00 each for standard and large [Goose] pens.
$3.00 each for bantam pens.

Fertile Eggs are not being accepted in this auction. Eggs will be accepted in July and October

All pens have a 3 birds Maximum and sold as one lot
Bidder registration is $2.00 which includes a pencil and notepad
Sundry goods are $3.00 for most items. Outside Stalls @ $15.00 for regular sites

Bookings are essential and by phone only to Ian or Hazel on 03 54274242. Bookings close THURSDAY 4/4/2019.
Young birds must be off heat and feathered.
All birds are to be presented in a healthy, disease free state and the club reserves the right to refuse entry to any bird presented in an unacceptable condition.

All transactions are cash only [no EFPOS or cheques] between the seller and buyer with the club taking no other commissions.
Buyers and Sellers, provided with name tags, can discuss the various breeds and their needs.

A sausage sizzle is available along with other hot and cold refreshments for your enjoyment.

There will be a great raffle with a terrific main prize and a nice range of other prizes.
Tickets are only available at the auction. Raffle drawn on the day and winners notified.
The club is appreciative of the support of the following sponsors:-" Woodend Produce Store", " Birds R Us of Bendigo", Watts Fruit Supply", "Kyneton Stock Feeds" "Toolern Vale Market, and "Sunset Valley Chicks"

The club has cardboard boxes for sale to buyers to carry their purchases home in comfort.

The Kyneton Poultry Club Inc. is a not for profit community based group and all proceed go to the continued refurbishment of our pavilion and the promotion of poultry in general
Most of the pens are new or have been refurbished .
The pavilion has a solid concrete floor, new lighting and we have increased our pen numbers to 412.
The auction is conducted by volunteers who give their time, expertise and energy to help run a successful event. They are only too happy to be of assistance to our patrons.

Would those who have booked early PLEASE CONFIRM their booking to ensure pens are reserved. We usually have a waiting list for pens.
Can sellers PLEASE provide details of entries so I can publish them on BYP

A list of entries will be provided when actual details are provided

Hi All,


We have Susan Faulkner setting up her Childrens Farm near the 'sausage sizzle' for the entertainment and education of the patrons families. Her fees are very reasonable and it is a real opportunity to get close to various rescued animals and fowl.

Hi All,

As you will have realised that the auction is actually in 2019 not nine years to ,hopefully, allay confusion I have started a new post with entry details.
The auctions conditions etc are as above.

The original list has been updated and there will be lists of additional entries posted as info is received.

Follow other post for progressive details.
