Hi,
With luck I'll have chicks start hatching this Monday.
This is my first time hand rearing chicks and I'm pretty keen to do all I can to help them survive and be as healthy as possible.
I was looking on the website of a poultry store in my state and was wondering if it would be a good idea to get some supplements, electrolytes and probiotic.
Is this a good idea or overkill?
Thank you!

How exciting!

I’d buy some soluble vitamins for birds. If you happen to have a chick that’s not as strong as the others then you can put some vitamins in the water for the first couple of days. I wouldn’t worry about buying anything else, other than a good quality chick starter crumble.
