Hi folks,
It might look like a silly question, but one of my chickens would make a sound sometimes, which "decoding" I couldn't find anywhere yet. Usually a chook would give it when it's close to the time when it's possible I may let them out roaming in the open. She would give it when she would notice I'm close to the fence and am walking on the foot path which leads to the gate (not necessary to open it later on). Sure I could assume it's some sort of an anticipation of some good coming for them, but still I'd like to know if any of you heard something like that and have a better understanding what could be on their chicken mind.
The sound is something like that: Kr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r - that long lol

Well........ Not sure about. Krrrrrrrrr...
But mine definitely have a sound for: "she's coming to open the gate". This is different to "scrap bucket arriving" and "incoming" for a bird of prey. :)
