Hi All,
My 21 week barred Plymouth Rock has not developed much of a comb or wattles - and seems pale to me (compared to her Australorp friend of the sameish age). Does anyone know if this is normal for this breed? She's my first.

Not laying yet. She gets a mix of scratch mix and Pullet crumbles. Otherwise seems very healthy and active.

Any advice gratefully received, thank you!!
Kirsty

Hi Kristy,

To me she looks ok, it makes it hard to compare when you have more than one breed, it is like comparing apples with oranges, you will find that some breeds and lines within a breed can mature later. I would if I was you worm her and the rest with a good wormer that includes the control of Tape worm mainly as precautionary measure.
